1) Acceptance of terms

By using universaliqtest.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) What the Service is (and isn't)

Universal IQ Test provides an online matrix reasoning test and statistics based on a dataset of test-takers.

Not clinical / not medical: The Service is provided for informational and educational/entertainment purposes only. It is not a clinical IQ assessment and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment decisions, hiring, admissions, or medical/legal decisions.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use the Service.

4) No accounts; link-based results

The Service uses link-based results (no user accounts). If you access a result link, you may be able to view that result.

Public links: Result links are accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for keeping your result link private if you do not want others to view it.

5) Scoring, rankings, and changing norms

Scores and percentiles are computed relative to our dataset. As the dataset grows, norms can update and percentile-based mappings can shift slightly over time. Your raw performance (answers/timing) does not change, but the mapping may.

6) Nicknames and public displays

Some areas (e.g., leaderboards/recent results) may display nicknames, country, and summary performance metrics.

You agree not to submit nicknames that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, impersonating, or privacy-violating. We may remove or modify displayed content at our discretion to keep the Service safe and usable.

7) Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat or manipulate results, rankings, or validation mechanisms
• Use bots or automated scripts to submit attempts or scrape the Service in ways that degrade performance
• Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or bypassing security controls
• Upload or transmit malware or harmful code
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes

We may block access or remove results from public displays if we detect abuse.

8) Intellectual property

The Service, including test content, design, and code, is owned by Universal IQ Test or licensed to it and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or publish test items or substantial parts of the Service without permission.

9) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data (email, device identifiers, test attempts, analytics, etc.).

10) Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that:

• the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• results will be perfectly accurate or comparable to clinical IQ tests
• results reflect population averages or real-world outcomes

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Universal IQ Test is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

12) Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.

13) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Place of jurisdiction is Bern, Switzerland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
